Hello fellow weavers!
It's THURSDAY! Which means a new pattern!
Not gonna lie, I had to throw this one together in a hurry. After spending 6 hours in the car on Sunday traveling from North Carolina, and another 6 hours on Monday to make the final journey home to Western New York, I was whooped! And I didn't even get a full 24 hours to recover because I have a day job....One day I'll just get to focus on making beautiful things to sell instead of having to depend on a day job.
Then I also realized I'm supposed to be putting together my sisters bridal shower this Saturday! Yikes! I thought I had more time... So while I was getting creative with table settings and gift baskets, I managed to get some weaving done!
Anyway, all those hours in the car, full days at work, and getting my creative hat on for my sister have me dragging my feet through the day. It's been multiple cups of tea and hot chocolate kind of days. I ended up not getting a chance to really weave and create a new fun project for you. But, we sold a ton of the 6 inch square looms at Southern Alpaca Celebration! That is the inspiration for this weeks pattern.
This pattern is very simple, hence why it's cheaper than the other patterns. But I've had a lot of fun playing around with colors.
Since I make my own soaps, I thought this will be an excellent addition to my inventory. A kitchen scrubbie! That is, until my handsome boyfriend grabbed one to use in the shower as an exfoliate wash cloth. Apparently, he's loving it. The best part, the scrubbie is 100% washable! Which means you can make as many as you'd like and switch them out as often as you'd like to keep your kitchen or bathroom bacteria free! Just toss the dirty ones in the laundry to be washed and then start over. *This is only if you use machine washable yarns, I do make suggestions in the pattern on which yarns to use.*
I have to share... As I was weaving away, trying to get a few scrubbies done for photos, these two brats got comfortable. I think they missed me 🙂 *I adore them and happily put up with their antics. I even put up with the occasional glare because I moved my foot, aka his pillow.
I hope you're loving the patterns. Please do not hesitate to give me suggestions or reviews on how I'm doing!
Happy weaving!

This one gets two stars because you're weaving more than one piece. But don't let that deceive you! It's very simple and easy to put together!
